Returns Policy

Product prices are shown as per the country from where the site is accessed, in case a particular currency is not defined in our system then for such country/countries the prices are shown in US dollars.

Order cut-off times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24-48 hours with the exception of sale periods where it may take up to 72 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

For all deliveries, a porch or door delivery without signature may be done. This is in line with international standards of shipping. We do not necessarily require a signature for goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a third-party recipient for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a porch delivery at the address given (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by us of our obligation.

All domestic orders will take about 3-4 days for delivery from the date of dispatch. International orders take a minimum of 7 days for delivery from the date of dispatch. Further information on the order status can be provided by our customer care upon request.

Free shipping is offered to only customers in Australia. Even though this does not apply to home decor items, within and outside Australia, due to their delicate nature. All decor objects are eligible for delivery charges depending on their weightage.

For shipping outside Australia: (a) no shipping charges will be applicable on orders exceeding minimum spend (b) shipping charge will be displayed on checkout page.

Most countries are shipped to on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means product prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are in, payment of these at the time of delivery is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. T.he Mahal insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes, then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by T.he Mahal and transfer of responsibility in the same way
